EDELWEISS
Hotel Edelweiss is a medium size customer friendly hotel in one of Sovata's beautiful valleys, about one km away from the touristic centre of the city. The hotel has its own restaurant with a rich international menu. Edelweiss - a Dutch investment - has got western class with friendly young staff, speaking various laguages.
 
SOVATA
Nestles on the edge of the forests in the foothills of the Carpatians in Transilvania. In these forrests live bears, wolves, lynxes, deer, wild pigs, eagles and in the main street of Sovata, storks nest each spring. Sovata itself grew up around a heliothermal lake, called Bear Lake ( very good for swimming ) the only one of its kind in Europe and the largest in the world. Its water and sapropelic mud are famed for their healing properties. There are reputed to help against gynaecological and rheumatoid ailments. The main street of Sovata has beautifull, old wooden villas, many terraces and every day markets in summer. Sovata has his own downhill ski course and ski-lift. From the hotel you can make beautifull trips into the Carpathians.

PRAID
At the nearby village of Praid the salt layers rises sufficiently close to the surface to be mined. The salt mines are open to visit and has a separate part what is used as an underground sanatorium for asthma patient.

CORUND
Corund, about 20 minutes from Sovata, is a folk art village with his own pottery, woodcraft and matting.

FACILITIES GENERAL INFORMATION

      The hotel has 15 rooms with two beds, with the possibility to insert spare beds. Every room has individual bathroom or shower, cable television, radio, mini bar and telephone. The personnel are staying at the guests' disposal with room service at demand.

      The hotel has its own restaurant with 60 places and with fireplace, and it waits for its guests with specific and neat offer; Sunday is open only for the guests of the hotel. 
       The staff is wllcoming the guests with various specialities of the local and international kitchen, and thanks for their foreign languages the communication is easy, the guests get high level services. 
    
     To the restaurant belongs a terrace with 60 places. In the hotel there are possibilities to organize conferences, and a saloon with television stays on the guests' disposal. For keeping the valuable objects the Edelwiess Hotel assures for guests a safe, and for the clients who are coming with car, a parking.

Children to 3 jears old have not pay for sleeping, when they sleeping by there parents.
